Surroundings
La Moraleda is located in the Guadalhorce valley, well situated for its close proximity to Malaga city centre, the Costa Del Sol, the Natural Park of the Sierra De Las Nieves, the three artificial lakes El Chorro and Los Montes of Malaga. Por su orientación y altura sobre el nivel del mar, el Valle del Guadalhorce disfruta de un microclima muy suave con temperaturas medias anuales de 17ºC. The Guadalhorce valley is covered all over in orange and lemon orchards farm houses scattered about and country houses built on the slopes of the hilly countryside. All these villages, Alhaurín el Grande, Almogía, Ardales, Casarabonela, Álora, Coín, Yunquera, Alozaina, Pizarra and Valle de Abdalajís are situated in the valley.
La Moraleda is situated in the municipal of Pizarra, between Álora and Cártama. Pizarra has a varied landscape, highlighting it is the mountain of the Sierra De La Gibralmora with its sandy bold rock forms, the fertile lowland plains are full of lush and green vegetation that sometimes orange trees mingle together with the eucalyptuses along the banks of the river.
