La Moraleda is located in the Guadalhorce valley, well situated for its close proximity to Malaga city centre, the Costa Del Sol, the Natural Park of the Sierra De Las Nieves, the three artificial lakes El Chorro and Los Montes of Malaga. By its orientation and height above sea level, the Guadalhorce Valley enjoys a mild microclimate with average annual temperatures of 17 º C. The Guadalhorce valley is covered all over in orange and lemon orchards farm houses scattered about and country houses built on the slopes of the hilly countryside. All these villages, Alhaurín el Grande, Almogía, Ardales, Casarabonela, Álora, Coín, Yunquera, Alozaina, Pizarra and Valle de Abdalajís are situated in the valley.
La Moraleda is situated in the municipal of Pizarra, between Álora and Cártama.
